This is how you can get into Glastonbury even if you missed out on tickets.

For many music lovers, Glastonbury tickets are the holy grail of the summer festival season, but scoring them only gets more expensive and more difficult year on year.

The hotly-anticipated festival will be taking place from Wednesday June 26 to Sunday June 30, 2024.

However for those who do miss out on tickets, there will still be a chance to attend the much coveted event.

For many music lovers, Glastonbury tickets are the holy grail of the summer festival season, but scoring them only gets more expensive and more difficult year on year

There are a number of opportunities to join the event working as a volunteer, with Festaff employing workers at Glastonbury (and other festivals).

According to its website: ‘Festaff positions usually involve working as part of a team of like-minded volunteers on some light & enjoyable tasks such as stewarding in the campsite, wristbanding and/or scanning tickets as patrons arrive at the event, front of house bar staff, campsite information point teams, or similar general assistance roles.’

Applications to volunteer for Festaff open on Thursday February 1, 2024.

Around 2000 Oxfam volunteers will also be at the event in June, with people able to register their interest today on the charity website.

Up to 1,500 volunteer medical professionals will also be present at the event with Festival Medical Services.

If you have medical, paramedic or first-aid qualifications, you can apply to join his team here.

General admission tickets go on sale at 9am on Sunday November 19.

Organisers have urged anyone hoping to buy a ticket to check their existing registration immediately or submit a new registration.

Tickets will cost £355 plus £5 booking. A £75 deposit is required when booking in November, with the rest of the balance needing to be paid by the first week of April 2023.

Tickets will be sold exclusively at glastonbury.seetickets.com.

There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in Spring 2024.
