My Mum, Your Dads Sharon and Elliott update fans on their relationship after show
My Mum Your Dad stars Sharon Benson and Elliot Davidson have revealed that their relationship is still going strong, following the final of the hit ITV show.
The show, which had been dubbed a "midlife Love Island", was fronted by Davina McCall, and aimed to connect single parents together in the hope of finding love – all while under the watchful eye of their grown up children.
And as soon as the show came to an end last week, fans were eager to find out which of the couples have stayed together.
Now Sharon and Elliot have left fans delighted as they confirm that they are still in a relationship with one another.
Taking to their Instagram pages the happy couple shared a joint snap, which they captioned: "Our journey began….."
And just a few hours later Sharon shared another photo with her new beau, penning the caption: "Date night [two wine glasses emoji] @mymumyourdaduk @itvxofficial @itv"
Fans were quick to comment on the photos, with one writing: "Yassssss the post we’ve all been waiting for!!! [heart emoji]"
"Awe so good to see you two together Sharon , Elliot seems like the loveliest man and you look soooo good together x" added another.
While a third wrote: "Yipeee so glad you are still together! Wishing you all the happiness in the world x"
It comes after Sharon previously admitted that she hadn't immediately fancied Elliot, as the pair reflected on their time on the show during an appearance on Loose Women.
When the panel, who included Kaye Adams, Frankie Bridge, Katie Piper and Jane Moore, asked the couple about when they first met, Sharon said: "It wasn't instant for either of us" leaving both the panel and the audience gasping.
"This is awkward!" remarked one of the Loose Women, before Elliot added to the cringe by confirming he didn't fancy Sharon at first either.
"Not for me, no," he said. "It was really difficult to take anyone in, we were all standing in a horseshoe."
Elliot then likened the situation to when you are sitting on a train and trying to look at the person next to you through the corner of your eye.
"It wasn't until we first went in and we sat down and had a conversation while we were waiting for Davina."
