Emmerdale viewers have been left outraged after Mackenzie Boyd decided to split from his girlfriend Chloe Harris and reunite with his estranged wife Charity Dingle.
During Monday's episode (November 20), Chloe was left distraught when Mack put an end to their relationship. Mack had initially planned to tell Chloe over the Christmas period but last week, he told Charity he couldn't face any more lies.
As Chloe started to question the reason for the breakup, she asked: "Just tell me, that it isn't Charity." Mack simply replied: "I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry. I wanted this to work, not just for us but for Reuben as well and I never, ever wanted to hurt you, that's why I put it off for so long, and I hate myself for it.

Handling the situation calmly, Chloe was devastated but told Mack to leave. Meanwhile, once Charity found out the news she was left gobsmacked by Mack's approach as he finally put an end to the love triangle that has been taking place over a number of months.
But fans at home were not pleased with Mack's stance and headed over to X formerly known as Twitter to complain. One viewer said: "What an a*****e, Mack is."
Another viewer fumed: "I used to have no sympathy for Chloe and I definitely don’t think she handled the situation well at all, but she’s only 20. Mack is absolutely vile and Charity has no self-respect taking him back."
A third fan of the show also claimed Mack was to blame for everything they wrote: "I don't understand how Chloe deserved this. Mack told her he was single, he treated her like crap when she was pregnant. He was the one that proposed, he never told her the truth. He lied to everyone. Mack is to blame for all this. The 2 women are just victims."
While a fourth viewer said: "Mack really is a rat and deserves neither of them." Although Chloe had most viewers in her corner, some fans were quick to highlight the fact she had slept with Mack when he was with Charity.
Offering an opposing view, one fan said: "Mackenzie & Charity are married so Chloe's anger is misguided. Married men rarely leave their wives for the mistress. That's the problem being the side chick tends to be left in the end. Mackenzie did the right thing."
According to Emmerdale spoilers, Chloe will soon seek revenge on Mack as she plans to leave the village with son Reuben in tow. Fans will have to wait and see if she manages to leave before Mack finds out her whereabouts.
