ANDRE Braugher has died at 61 following a brief illness.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star died Monday, according to Deadline.

Fans are taking to social media to pay tribute to the two-time Emmy winner after his passing.

"I'm in total shock! Amazing in Homicide, hilarious in Brooklyn Nine Nine. R.I.P. Legend," one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Actor Terry Crews, who co-starred with Andre Braugher on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, took to Instagram to remember his former co-star, writing in part: "Can't believe you're gone so soon. I’m honored to have known you, laughed with you, worked with you and shared 8 glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent.

“This hurts. You left us too soon. You taught me so much. I will be forever grateful for the experience of knowing you.”

Andre is best known for his work on Homicide: Life on the Street, Men of a Certain Age, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

The actor is survived by his wife, actress Ami Brabson, and his three sons.

  Dirk Blocker has paid tribute to his Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-star Andre Braugher.

  "Fiercely intelligent, remarkably kind, supportive, generous and possessed a deep and extraordinary talent, and had even more to offer," he wrote on Instagram.

  "I am devastated. I love him. The 9 years I was able to work with him and to just be in his presence was truly a blessing. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family."
