Woman horrified by creepy texts from builder who left halfway through job
There's nothing worse than a builder ditching you half way through a job being completed – and it's even worse when they leave you hanging with a pretty bizarre excuse as to why.
One woman was left particularly stunned when a bloke palmed off the work for an explicit reason. When she needed to have her kitchen plastered, she explained she had asked for recommendations from people before she took someone on.
Then she found someone who seemed reliable, and things were going pretty good to start out with. But things took a rapid turn for the worst when he packed up his tools three days into the job, and left without good reason.

During the time he left, he was only around halfway through the job, so she was totally gutted. When she asked him when he planned on coming back to complete the work, the reply was super raunchy.
According to the woman, messages exchanged between the pair were "inappropriate". She said he went onto proposition her, which left her feeling a little uncomfortable.
She shared screenshots of the messages on the Girlsmouth Facebook group. The woman, known only as Amy, said: "So I hired a plasterer through recommendations… third day in after three hours he just disappeared, no text, no I'm off, nothing. I messaged him this morning to end up with this reply. I was in that much shock I didn't respond. Any suggestions ladies? Silver lining I got half my kitchen done."
When she asked him when he thought he'd return, the man said: "No I'm not coming back." He then suggested he would come back as long as she agreed to engage in sexual activity with him.
Moreover, he went onto describe what he was hoping to do in detail. He continued: "So that's why I'm not coming back cos, I want to do naughty things to you. Now if ya up for that then, I'll come back up. Don't worry about the money, not bothered about that."
The woman was left in shock as she had "only made him a cup of tea a few times in fluffy PJs". She also noted he was "old enough to be her dad".
Since she shared the story a few years ago, thousands of people replied to offer their thoughts – and people are still talking about the incident!
Many were blown away by the man's bold and creepy proposal. One wrote: "Wtf bit of a creep needs reporting."
Another added: "Wow he sounds proper professional and dedicated to his line of work." And a third replied: "Well, you know from experience he doesn't finish the job so I'd definitely pass."
