Strictlys Ellie Leach shares love for Vito as she admits she cant wait

Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach has beamed with excitement as she declared her "love" for professional partner Vito Coppola.

Ellie took to social media for the first time since she and Vito made it through another week on the BBC dancing competition. They continued to dominate the scoreboard, topping the leaderboard with the judges' scores, earning an eye-watering 37 points.

Vito and Ellie set pulses racing as the pair got up close and personal during a sultry performance to Bills, Bills, Bills by Destiny's Child. The pair won over the public with their Argentinian tango, but some of the judges criticised the "lack of intimacy" the duo had in their routine.

Reflecting on her time on the show so far, she declared that she "can't wait" to get back on the dancefloor with Italian hunk Vito, who recently posted a lengthy message to his loyal fans. Uploading the statement to Instagram on Monday (November 27), Vito said he could not believe he had made it to the quarter final stage of the show.

Strictly fans are rejoicing as Musicals Week returns to the show this Saturday (December 2). This week will see the celebrity couples taking on new dance routines to classic musical hits, though each couple's song choices have not yet been released.

Sharing a clip of their performance last weekend, Vito wrote: "What an intense week it was… We enjoyed it so much! It was different from the usual Argentinian tango in different ways."

Giving Ellie the nickname Lulú, Vito continued to shower praise on the ITV soap star, saying she was "the strong and independent woman who is in control". He added that the pair were discovering new sides to themselves and it was helping them progress – not just in the competition, but in life as well.

"I am so so proud of you Ellie and the woman you are becoming," Coppola gushed. "Everyone is proud of you but mostly you have to be proud of yourself, because you and only you know all the sacrifices and the commitment needed to perform in that way, for someone who has never danced before – brava Lulú. Keep going and let’s keep dancing."

Vito also paid tribute to the fans watching the show at home, as their support and votes are also helping the couple sail through to the quarter-final stage of the competition. Ellie was quick to respond to Vito's post, saying the feeling was mutual for her.

"Thank you for being you, Vito," she wrote. "I'm so proud of our journey so far and I can't wait to continue dancing with you!!! Musicals week, here we come!" She also gave thanks to dance teachers for their extra support, saying she "loved" dancing it with her partner.

The love from both partners comes as Vito gushed over the Corrie star's family. Speaking to Claudia Winkleman on Sunday's show (November 26), the Italian stallion said he had been swapping cooking recipes with Ellie's loved ones.

Strictly Come Dancing airs every Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
