Quality Street fans in for a surprise after shake up to two iconic flavours
Quality Street are shaking things up this Christmas after announcing a change to two of their iconic flavours.
The purple-tinned chocolates – a popular choice for chocolate fans at Christmas – have changed the shape of two of their traditional flavours.
Both The Purple One and Orange Crunch will be getting a makeover and taking on the shape of the Caramel Swirl.
The Caramel Swirl features a more swirly pattern and is covered in a gold wrapper.
Currently, The Purple One has more of a dome, oval shape while the Orange Crunch sports a hexagon shape.

Despite a change in their appearance, both chocolates will still be in their iconic purple and orange wrapping so fans will still be able to tell which is which.
Both will also only be available for a limited time so those wanting to try them will have to keep an eye out for them.
The new shaped purple ones will only appear in The Purple One chocolate bags.
Meanwhile the new orange crunch shape will be featured in Quality Street tubs.

Jemma Handley, senior brand manager for Quality Street, said: “We are trialling a different shape for two of our sweets this Christmas season.
“We know how iconic Quality Street sweets are and we have made sure that it is the same great tasting Purple One and Orange Crunch that people know and love inside their iconic coloured wrappers.”
The price of the tubs will remain the same but not all tubs will include the new shape.
