A Home Counties mansion that has been the home to Emperor Napoleon’s brothers, Wall Street giant JP Morgan and even inspired M’s office in the James Bond movies has hit the market for £75million. 

King Joseph-Napoleon Bonaparte, who reigned over Naples and Spain, and King Jerome-Napoleon Bonaparte, who briefly reigned over Westphalia, lived in the house for a year in the 1830s after their Emperor brother fell from power in 1814. 

American financier JP Morgan, who dominated Wall Street in his time, used the mansion as his English country retreat between the 1853 and 1913. 

In 1960, James Bond film franchise co-producer Harry Saltzman bought Denham Place which he lived in for 17 years. 

Not only did he use the palace as his office, cast and crew of the iconic Bond films rehearsed there is even unconfirmed reports that scenes from the films were shot there.
