Easy Yorkshire puddings cook perfectly in the air fryer – recipe
Cooking a roast dinner is a laborious task so it’s tempting to cut corners by opting for ready-made Yorkshire puddings.
But with the help of an air fryer, they can be cooked in just 20 minutes – and they’re guaranteed to be better than shop-bought.
Sharing her unique recipe on TikTok, @Nannabea revealed exactly how she makes her impressive no-fuss “air fryer style” Yorkies.
In the video, which has been watched by more than 10million people, the social media star said that she uses the “equal quantities method”.
This means that instead of using specific measurements, she just uses one container to measure out each ingredient to the same amount.

Nannabea said: “If you fill a bowl right up to the top with flour, you then fill it right up to the top with milk. And then you fill it up to the top with eggs.
“I can’t tell you how many eggs, even though people still ask me – I don’t know how big your eggs are! And I also don’t know how big your bowl or jug is.”

Method
Start by preheating the air fryer to 170C, then take eight individual round tins – ceramic dishes work just as well – and fill each one with a small amount of lard or vegetable oil.
Leave them to heat up in the fryer basket and move onto the batter. To make the batter, simply measure out the dry ingredients and transfer them into a large mixing bowl.
Add some salt and pepper and then slowly pour in an equal quantity of milk and eggs, whisking all the time to keep the mixture lump-free.
Transfer the batter back into a jug for ease of pouring and fill each dish in the air fryer with an equal amount of the mixture.
Return the fryer basket and leave the Yorkshires to cook for 20 minutes at 170C.
Once the timer ends, the tins should be filled with plump and golden puddings ready to soak in gravy and enjoy with a roast dinner.
