Unlikely stars become frontrunners to take Holly Willoughbys This Morning job

Holly Willoughby quits ITV’s This Morning after 14 years

After Holly Willoughby announced she was leaving This Morning, two unlikely stars have become frontrunners to take over from her.

The bookies have revealed Rylan Clark and Davina McCall to be in the race to get a coveted seat on the This Morning sofa.

Rylan, 34, is currently leading the list of names at 3/1, with Davina, 55, leading closely behind at 4/1.

These two personalities are followed by Amanda Holden and Rochelle Humes who are both at 5/1, according to the bookies.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Rylan is unquestionably a fan favourite, and the latest odds suggest a full-time gig on Britain’s most famous sofa could be on the cards for him.”

Regarding Davina, Alex added: “Davina is certainly no stranger to our screens, and with ITV snapping up Big Brother, there’s every chance its former host Holly’s morning gig.”

Other names on the bookies list include Alesha Dixon at 11/2, Laura Whitmore at 6/1, Nick Grimshaw at 13/1 and Maya Jama at 8/1.

Rylan and Davina are no strangers to the This Morning family as both of the stars have guest presented on the show on a number of occasions.

Holly, 42, shared her decision to leave the ITV daytime show on Tuesday, after 14 years of presenting the program.
