Robbie Williams says hes got scores to settle ahead of explosive new doc
Robbie Williams: Netflix documentary trailer
Robbie Williams has declared that he has “scores to settle” as he gets ready for his self-titled documentary to hit Netflix on Thursday.
The Angels chart-topper spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk and other press about the explosive four-part series, which will include his rise to fame, infamous fallout with Take That bandmate Gary Barlow and his very public breakdown at the height of his fame.
“I’ve got some scores to settle,” he said at a pop-up launch party held in London this evening (November 1). “I’ve got my own narrative to give you about who I am as a person.
“For me just as an individual, it’s really, really important that I get to tell my story.

“So if you’re gonna judge me, judge me for the right reasons and not the wrong reasons. I’m very, very happy and very honoured to be on this platform with Netflix…”
He added: “I hope at the end of the four episodes that you [viewers] turn to the person that you are with or you’ll say in your own head, because you are alone, ‘That was alright. I’m gonna go to bed now.'”
Earlier today, the 49-year-old singer shared that he is “physically preparing” for the launch of the series by proudly showing himself getting a spray tan in his underwear.
His wife Ayda Field, 44, posted the video of the Let Me Entertain hitmaker in a pair of Versace underwear and a hairnet to her Instagram page and joked that he was taking the process of getting ready for the big day “very seriously”.
In a caption of the clip, which sees the former Take That looking super thin after his dramatic weight loss, Ayda writes: “@robbiewilliams is taking his prep for the pop-up of his Robbie Williams Netflix Documentary tonight very seriously, or at least from the top half up. Spraytan #bts #manglam (PS I’m going to look pale next to him now).”

Ahead of the release of his forthcoming documentary, Robbie, who also said he is going through “manopause”, admitted weight gain can be “shockingly catastrophic” to his mental health.
“Babe, I’m on Ozempic,” he told The Times, referring to the “skinny jab” that became known as “Hollywood’s worst-kept secret”. “Well, something like Ozempic. It’s like a Christmas miracle.”
Since taking the Ozempic-like drug, Robbie revealed he had lost over a stone, adding: “And I need it, medically. I’ve been diagnosed with type 2 self-loathing.”
Robbie Williams premieres on Netflix November 8.
