Love Islands Maura Higgins confirms shes in a very happy relationship
Maura Higgins is officially off the market, people. The 33 year old former Love Islander recently confirmed to her fans that she was in a relationship while appearing as a guest on the Irish talk show, The Late Late Show.
While chatting to host Patrick Kielty – who was grilling Maura about the romance rumours that have been circulating online for months – the influencer finally set the record straight.
"I am no more single. Very happy relationship," she said sweetly while wearing a huge grin.
Patrick then straight up asked Maura if her new man was in the audience supporting her, to which she replied: "He is. He's there somewhere."
As the crowd erupted with cheers and claps, Patrick teased Maura by calling him a "good looking devil." Of course, Maura played up to the spectators by responding: "Oh he is."
For those in the dark, the "good looking" man in question is Bobby Holland Hanton, a professional stuntman who has a very impressive resume.
From being Chris Hemsworth's stunt double for over 12 years to performing inblockbuster action films including the Avengers movies, Batman, James Bond and Mission Impossible, Bobby's website also says he was "David Beckham's football double."
The two first sparked serious dating speculation back in August 2023, when they both shared snaps of a romantic dinner in Fiji to their Instagrams.
Fast forward four months, and the pair seem to be enjoying a loved up trip to Ireland amid Maura's work commitments, thanks to further cryptic social media posts of the pair both in Dublin.
Maura's sweet romance admission on the talk show was shared on a gossip Instagram page, and it's safe to say that her fans are made up for her and her new relationship.
Taking to the comments section to gush over her and Bobby, one fan shared: "A beautiful girl she deserves to be in a good and happy relationship," while another said: "Happy for Maura she deserves to be happy."
Others agreed, as a third penned: "Maura is lovely. Happy for her," while further fans simply dropped a string of heart emojis in support.
Romance aside, Maura has also had a very successful year career wise, after she landed the role of social host on Love Island USA and Love Island Games which was hosted by Maya Jama.
For all the social media sleuths out there, you'll know that the latter was filmed in Fiji, so it makes perfect sense as to why Bobby was out there around the same time…
