Joel Dommett shares sweet new snap of baby and says his brain cant comprehend
Joel Dommett has shared an adorable picture of his new baby boy.
The comedian and presenter revealed that he "doesn't really comprehend" that his child has now been born.
The new dad shared a cute black and white picture of his new-born baby son's hand clutching his finger, alongside a picture of his hands on a pregnancy scan before he was born.
Posting the two pictures on Instagram, Joel said: "My brain still doesn’t really comprehend the fact that these are THE SAME HANDS.. so weird.."
One fan said: "My boy is 7 months old and still can’t believe it. How can those wee legs be the same ones that kicked me in my tummy?"
Another commented: "Congratulations it’s the greatest responsibility I’ve ever known and I'm so pleased you are on this journey."
While a third added: "It is truly joyous ! I’m a first time nanna and my heart could burst it’s so full every time I hold my granddaughter . Many congratulations and enjoy these days. They only come once."
The 38-year-old welcomed his first child with his model wife Hannah Cooper, and revealed the baby's adorable name earlier this month.
Joel, and Hannah, 32, took to Instagram to share the happy news and captioned a picture of the baby's feet: "Wilde Cooper-Dommett. Pinterest perfect baby feet that are already bigger than his Dad’s."
The pair announced they were expecting in May, sharing news alongside a pair of photobooth snaps of Hannah's bump.
They married in Greece in 2019, two years after the TV star got down on one knee.
Speaking to OK! shortly after tying the knot, Joel shared his and Hannah's baby plans and said that they wanted to wait a couple of years before starting a family.
He said: "I think we’re just going to chill for a couple of years and see what happens."
"We’re in no rush to push it forward. I’m genuinely just really enjoying myself and I feel very lucky. Hopefully we’ll continue on that streak."
While Joel found fame on Skins in 2007, he's gone to become a staple of many people's Saturday nights after becoming the host of The Masked Singer in 2019.
He's also hosted the NTAs three times, most memorably in October 2022 where he accidentally referred to King Charles as the Prince of Wales.
In light of his NTA hosting duties, Joel has admitted that he'd one day like to hand himself one of the awards.
