EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Queen Camilla's daughter closes fashion business
EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Queen Camilla’s daughter Laura Lopes is forced to close down fashion business Mojo & McCoy that she hoped would make a fortune
When Queen Camilla’s daughter, Laura Lopes, opened a home counties fashion boutique, Mojo & McCoy with a group of pals eight years ago, she and her husband hoped it would make their fortune.
‘There is a lot of cash in this area, so he was thinking, ‘This could be it!’ Laura said of Harry Lopes.
She and her fellow owners – who included her sister-in-law Mima Lopes, Chanelle McCoy, wife of horse racing legend Sir Tony, and Emily Hambro – have, however, now admitted defeat, and are shutting up shop in Hungerford, Berkshire.
‘It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the closure of Mojo & McCoy at the end of the year,’ a spokesman confirms.

‘The last few years have been tough for everyone in the retail industry. We were hoping to move the store to a better location, but sadly that didn’t work out.’
The boutique stocks brands including jewellery designer Catherine Zoraida, a favourite of the Princess of Wales, Samantha Cameron’s label Cefinn, and Alice Goldsmith’s children’s clothing line, Dotty Dungarees.
Laura said Mojo & McCoy was one of the only places you could buy outfits by Edina Ronay, noting that her mother is ‘a huge fan of Edina’
