Woman shaves off half her eyebrows in bid for ‘snatched’ makeup look – but has she gone too far? | The Sun
‘SNATCHED’ make-up is currently all the rage, with people doing whatever they can to get the lifted, angular look of the world’s biggest supermodels.
And one beauty whizz has really taken it to the extreme by shaving off half her eyebrows, which she insists helps her achieve a more sculpted look.
Mar, who posts on social media under the name @hey.itsmar, is a fashion and lifestyle influencer who regularly shares everything from make-up tutorials to fashion finds with her 74k followers on TikTok.
The cosmetics whizz began a recent video by revealing she was going to demonstrate how she does her eyebrows – and making it very clear she knew it would aggravate some viewers.
“First, I actually shaved half my eyebrows off,” she reveals.
“I know,” Mar continues, noting that it looks bizarre when she’s bare-faced, but that it makes it much easier to get the “snatched” look.

“I liked drawing my eyebrows straight across,” the make-up matesro reveals, pulling the skin beside her eye taut to extend her brow outwards.
She then brushes over the drawn-on hair with a clear pomade to gove a “swooped and natural” look.
MAr then revealed that she’s been advised by a celebrity cosmetics guru to “completely shave off my eyebrows and just draw them straight like the 90s eyebrows.”
“It’s honestly like a vibe,” she agrees, “but I don’t think I have the guts to do that.”
