Strictly Come Dancing finalists Bobby Brazier and Layton Williams have both reportedly been approached by production bosses wanting to air documentaries about their lives. The actors narrowly missed out on lifting the Glitterball Trophy at the weekend as former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and partner Vito Coppola were crowned winners.

A source explained: “Bobby and Layton haven’t just won the hearts of the public, they have caught the eye of TV bosses with their emotional journeys on Strictly.”

Speaking to the Mirror, they continued: “There is already competition between terrestrial channels and it’s likely to spark a bidding battle.”

Bobby, 20, has apparently been approached for a programme surrounding the loss of a parent after the death of his mother Jade Goody, which happened when Bobby was five years old. Layton, 29, has been asked to front a documentary about online homophobia after he opened up about trolling and the impact it had on him while he took part in the BBC competition.

It comes after former Strictly winner Rose Ayling-Ellis fronted a show about growing up as a deaf person in the UK. Paralympian Ellie Simmons also presented a series which followed her search for her birth mother and aired after her Strictly stint.
