ANDRE Braugher has died at 61 following a brief illness. <\/p>\n

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star died Monday, according to Deadline.<\/p>\n

Fans are taking to social media to pay tribute to the two-time Emmy winner after his passing.<\/p>\n

"I'm in total shock! Amazing in Homicide, hilarious in Brooklyn Nine Nine. R.I.P. Legend," one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n

Actor\u00a0Terry Crews, who co-starred with Andre Braugher on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, took to\u00a0Instagram\u00a0to remember his former co-star, writing in part: "Can't believe you're gone so soon. I\u2019m honored to have known you, laughed with you, worked with you and shared 8 glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis hurts. You left us too soon. You taught me so much. I will be forever grateful for the experience of knowing you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andre is best known for his work on Homicide: Life on the Street, Men of a Certain Age,\u00a0and\u00a0Brooklyn Nine-Nine.<\/p>\n

The actor is survived by his wife, actress Ami Brabson, and his three sons.<\/p>\n
