Love Island star Afia Tonkmor has been left \u201ccrying in pain\u201d after she suffered a shocking reaction to lip filler.<\/p>\n

Afia, who starred in the 2022 series of the dating show, has explained to her followers that she has been ill with a cold, and her lips have been left very swollen.<\/p>\n

The 27 year old has been left in excruciating pain, and she has claimed that pharmacists looked \u201cterrified\u201d when they looked at her.<\/p>\n

She took to her social media to tell her followers about her \u201cnightmare\u201d experience.<\/p>\n

Alongside a clip, Afia wrote: \u201cMy filler updated experience, filler allergic reaction with filler swelling. I wouldn't get filler again.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the video, Afia showed off her painful lips and told her fans: \u201cI feel like I have to do this video because I did a video about my filler journey, and it went flawlessly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen, after six weeks, I had heard that if you have filler and you get sick, like a flu or a cold, your filler can swell up.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cObviously, I was not aware that it could swell up to this extent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I\u2019m one of the rare people that swells up to this extent, but the pain.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very rare that if I\u2019m sick I\u2019ll start crying. I\u2019ve spent half the night crying, and when I look at myself, I start crying more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Afia then explained that she has been given steroids and painkillers to hopefully combat the reaction.<\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cI\u2019m drowning myself in painkillers. I\u2019ve got to take steroids today.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope they work within an hour because I don\u2019t think I can actually deal with this again for the whole day.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been like this for 48 hours now. I can\u2019t go out of my house, I can\u2019t see no one.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went to the pharmacy yesterday and showed them, and they looked terrified.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the video continued, she added: \u201cI was thinking of getting more filler, and then this happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cGetting dissolved and putting them ideas to bed. These are getting dissolved; filler life ain\u2019t for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

She posted the clip on TikTok, and it left her followers stunned, as many of them saying that her reaction had put them off getting filler in the future.<\/p>\n

One person wrote: \u201cEvery time I think about getting filler, I see these types of videos. I\u2019m just gonna listen to the sign. I hope your lips heal.\u201d<\/p>\n

While another penned: \u201cI\u2019m never getting filler again omg.\u201d<\/p>\n

Someone else commented: \u201cGenuinely didn\u2019t recognise you, hope it calms down soon girl!\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, a follower said: \u201cI've been wanting fillers so bad, but this is the second time I've seen one that has completely scared me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Afia replied to that comment and said: \u201cI\u2019d literally avoid it, the risks are crazy.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo me it\u2019s not worth it. I literally just fell for the delusional trend.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
