{"id":135394,"date":"2023-12-12T12:52:07","date_gmt":"2023-12-12T12:52:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bluemull.com\/?p=135394"},"modified":"2023-12-12T12:52:07","modified_gmt":"2023-12-12T12:52:07","slug":"britains-top-100-breathtaking-off-the-beaten-track-locations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bluemull.com\/lifestyle\/britains-top-100-breathtaking-off-the-beaten-track-locations\/","title":{"rendered":"Britain&apos;s top 100 breathtaking &apos;off the beaten track&apos; locations"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1> Britain&#8217;s top 100 breathtaking &#8216;off the beaten track&#8217; locations have been revealed &#8211; so how many have YOU visited?<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>They are all pinpointed on an interactive &#8216;Get Lost with Jeep Compass&#8217; digital map<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>If users click on their markers they will discover activities to do or things to see there\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0The world&#8217;s top 100 cities for 2023 RANKED: Paris is No.1 (again), followed by Dubai\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Some Britons may not have heard of the likes of Berrow Beach in Somerset, or Talybont Reservoir in Wales, but they&#8217;re considered by those in the know to be among the most stunning places in the British Isles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Other beautiful but little-known locations include Wistman&#8217;s Wood in Devon, Finnich Gorge in Stirlingshire, and Symonds Yat Rock, in Gloucestershire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>These places <\/span><span>were identified by Jeep and a team of experts from Ordnance Survey as spots eligible for inclusion in a list of Britain&#8217;s top 100 breathtaking &#8216;off the beaten track&#8217; locations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>They are all pinpointed on an interactive <\/span><span>&#8216;Get Lost with Jeep Compass&#8217;<\/span><span> digital map. If users click on their markers they<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0will discover activities to do or things to see there, and find details of nearby walking or cycling routes that can be accessed through the OS Maps app.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It follows a study of 2,000 adults that found 31 per cent have seen little of Britain. Nearly a quarter (24 per cent) have never visited Scotland, 17 per cent have not ventured to Wales, and 20 per cent have not even been to <\/span><span>London<\/span><span>.
