Get out!&#8217; which woke up other family members who forced him out of the house as he repeatedly apologised.<\/p>\n<p>Robinson had climbed through an unlocked window at the victim&#8217;s home in Warboys, Cambridgeshire, and made his way up the stairs, police said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/08\/12\/78735371-12841623-image-a-47_1702039149682.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Phillip Robinson, 40, was jailed for two years and three months after pleading guilty to stalking<\/p>\n<p>In a police interview, Robinson said the victim had flirted with him by wearing shorts and because she had talked to him, but confirmed she had never told him her name.<\/p>\n<p>He said he appeared in her bedroom, as he thought she had sent him a text inviting him, but then admitted he was wrong and he didn&#8217;t receive any such message.<\/p>\n<p>Cambridgeshire Police said Robinson had carried out an escalating campaign of stalking towards the victim in the months before the incident.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;d sit on his mobility scooter at the end of his driveway, watching her home and would try to talk to her when she came out, which she tried to avoid.<\/p>\n<p>Then he started travelling down a communal pathway near her garden and often parked his scooter so it would face her home for about 15 minutes at a time.<\/p>\n<p>After being arrested in June, he breached his bail conditions several times and was arrested for a continuation of stalking, the force said.<\/p>\n<p>Robinson was jailed at Peterborough Crown Court on Wednesday after admitting the offences at a previous hearing.<\/p>\n<p>DC Alan Tregilgas thanked the victim for reporting the incident and said: &#8216;Robinson&#8217;s behaviour was despicable, it was a frightening experience for the victim in her own home where she should feel safe.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12841623\/stalker-neighbour-slept-police-arrested-flirting.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read Full Article<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gurning face of &#8216;despicable&#8217;
