Dean Sullivan’s final TV appearance on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip<\/h3>\n

Dean Sullivan fans have been left emotional after he made his final TV appearance following his death. The late actor, 68, was known to millions for playing Jimmy Corkhill in the iconic Channel 4 soap, Brookside. The star died last week following a battle with prostate cancer, he was diagnosed in 2018.<\/p>\n

Prior to his death, he took part in the latest Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, where he went head-to-head with Heartbeat actress Tricia Penrose.<\/p>\n

During the BBC show, the pair travelled across the country with antiques experts to search for treasures before competing to make the most money at an auction.<\/p>\n

Before the show aired on Tuesday, the broadcaster confirmed they had received permission from Dean\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

In a statement shared on social media, a spokesperson wrote: \u201cWe are incredibly sad to hear last week the death of Dean Sullivan, known for his iconic performance as Jimmy Corkhill in Brookside.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the blessing of his family, the episode we recorded with Dean and his long-time friend @triciapenrose will air this evening as planned.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans became emotional as they watched his last scenes and shared their sadness on X, formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n
