This is the hilarious moment a horrified four-year-old battered a naughty elf toy to ‘death’ – after seeing that it had flung toilet paper all around the living room.

Tamara Castle, 26, from Bexley, Kent set up the festive prank for her daughter Betsy on the morning of December 1.

But the appalled toddler was furious when she saw what had been done, and ‘killed’ the Elves Behavin Badly doll in a rage.

Her mother documented the brutal assassination in a TiKTok earlier this month, and the clip now has 2.7 million views, leaving viewers in stitches.

The funny video shows Betsy running into the living room in her pyjamas – where she is suddenly faced with the elf’s mess.

Tamara staged the scene to suggest the unruly Christmas toy made slide out of the loo roll, and then draped it all over the sofas.

A note by the stool also appears to say: ‘I’m back! Do you like my slide Betsy?’

Taking in the mess, Betsy can then heard shouting ‘what the hell is this?’ as she stares at the toy in fury whilst Tamara can be heard giggling in the background.

Betsy then proceeds to grab the the elf by its feet and slams its head against the wooden stool as ‘punishment’.

The mother-of-one said this is the first year she’s taken part in the festive prank tradition – initially inspired by Elf on the Shelf, a 2005 children’s picture book by American authors Carol V. Aebersold and Bell Chanda.

‘I didn’t expect her to react like this and beat up the elf,’ Tamara said.

‘Betsy doesn’t like being naughty and she is a very good kid. If she ever sees anything naughty, she is not impressed.

‘She was extremely put off by the elf.’

‘I didn’t know where she heard this from because it’s not something I’d say,’ she remarked.

‘And then when she started bashing it as well it was so funny.’

The elf is ‘still in tact’ so Tamara is going to brave ‘another go’ with the culprit – but ‘he will definitely need a few plasters to make sure he feels a bit better’.

After uploading the video to TikTok, the mother says people have also suggested she won’t need to think of any further stunts as the ‘elf is dead’.

‘I didn’t think this video would ever go this viral,’ she admitted.

After uploading the video to TikTok, the mother says people have also suggested she won’t need to think of any further stunts as the ‘elf is dead’

‘I said to Betsy that she’s going to be famous and she thought this was really good.

Commenters couldn’t stop laughing as they witnessed the full power of the toddler’s fury.

‘The stance she took on the second whack has me crying honestly,’ one wrote.

People also expressed their concerns for the elf’s wellbeing and mortality.

‘The elf probably now has a concussion until next Christmas,’ a second added.

‘Well you don’t have to worry about [the elf prank] anymore,’ another read. ‘She killed him.’
