A BOY accused of killing trans schoolgirl Brianna Ghey ended up covered in blood after watching his co-accused stab her, a court heard yesterday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Referred to in court as Boy Y, he said he was invited to the park by Girl X, who brought her friend Brianna, 16, along.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In a police interview, played to jurors, he said he went to the toilet against a tree and: \u201cWhen I turned around, I saw [Girl X] stab [Brianna] at least three times.\u201d<\/p>\n

The boy, who is autistic, added: \u201cBrianna was curled up on the floor.<\/p>\n

"I went up to Brianna to see if she was alive. <\/p>\n

"I put my hand to see if she was breathing. <\/p>\n

Brianna was knifed 28 times in the park near Warrington, Cheshire, in February this year.<\/p>\n

The boy and girl, both 15 at the time, deny murder, blaming each other.<\/p>\n
