as police release CCTV in hunt for &#8216;arsonist&#8217;<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The victim, 54, was rushed to hospital after the blaze in Hull, East Yorkshire\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Emergency services called to a house fire at 840pm\u00a0on Wednesday\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0A murder probe has been launched by police after a man died in a house fire.<\/p>\n<p>The victim, 54, was rushed to hospital after the blaze in Hull, East Yorkshire, on Wednesday but couldn&#8217;t be saved.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives launched a murder inquiry and have now released CCTV image of a man they&#8217;d like to speak to.<\/p>\n<p>DS Al Curtis from Humberside Police said: &#8216;If you know who this man is, we would ask that you please contact us.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services were called to reports of a house fire in Terry Street in the port city at 8.40pm on Wednesday, November 29.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/03\/09\/78519579-12819761-image-a-2_1701596531593.jpg\" height=\"301\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Detectives launched a murder inquiry and have now released CCTV image of a man they&#8217;d like to speak to<\/p>\n<p>Fire crews rescued the man, who was rushed to hospital where died two days later.<\/p>\n<p>His family have been informed and continue to receive specialist support at this difficult time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>DS Curtis added: &#8216;Since the fire occurred on Wednesday evening, detectives from my team have been conducting extensive lines of enquiry including house to house, consulting with the fire service and reviewing CCTV.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As a part of those lines of enquiry, we have images of a man we would like help in identifying, as we believe he may be able to assist with our enquiries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I understand an incident of this nature is likely to cause concern, however, I&#8217;d like to reassure residents we do believe this to be isolated at this time.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I would encourage anyone who has any concerns to please speak to one of the officers.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12819761\/Murder-probe-launched-man-dies-house-fire-Hull-police-release-CCTV-hunt-arsonist.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read Full Article<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Murder probe launched after man dies in house fire in Hull &#8211;
