Leading the charge was Louis Vuitton\u2019s Men\u2019s Pre-Fall 2024 runway show in Hong Kong under the direction of Pharrell Williams. Following on its heels is the announcement of Matthew M Williams and Givenchy parting ways.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, Miu Miu is the world\u2019s hottest brand for the second year in a row; Fear of God reveals its Athletics collection and Kim Jones\u2019 Dior announced its Men\u2019s Fall 2024 show in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>Louis Vuitton<\/span><\/p>\n Yesterday, Pharrell Williams took Louis Vuitton to Hong Kong for the Men\u2019s Pre-Fall 2024 show. Marking Williams\u2019 second collection and runway show at the new menswear creative director, the latest effort sees the multi-hyphenate further his vision of the LV man.<\/p>\n Located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, the show brought in an international crowd, with a key focus on the Asian market. From a design perspective, the latest collection saw a focus on tailoring alongside elevated, street-leaning pieces.<\/p>\n \u201cThe archetypes that we chose were like a sailor one and an another archetype was one on holiday. There\u2019s a lot of floral inspiration, a deep dive into exotic colorways, interesting pairings of colors,\u201d Williams told Hypebeast. \u201cThe silhouette that you\u2019re going to see is consistent with what I\u2019m infatuated with when it comes to formal\u2026which is the future of chic, dandy in a sailor suit, dandy in resort holiday.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>Copenhagenfashionsummit<\/span><\/p>\n Givenchy has announced that Matthew M Williams is set to exit as its creative director \u2014 a role the Illinois-born designer has held for four years.<\/p>\n With Williams at the helm, Givenchy saw a fusion of the designer\u2019s signature knack for punk-laden streetwear and tailoring-oriented style notes. With an inherent edgy core, Williams parted new notes for fashion for the house. Williams is set to officially make his exit on January 1, 2024.<\/p>\n \u201cLeading the creative direction of Givenchy was, as I said upon my arrival in 2020, the dream of a lifetime,\u201d Williams said in a statement. \u201cOver these three years, I have strived to perpetuate Mr. Hubert de Givenchy\u2019s legacy while bringing my own creative vision and I would like to sincerely thank the studio, Renaud de Lesquen, and LVMH for this incredible opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>Miu Miu<\/span><\/p>\n For the second year in a row, Miu Miu is the world\u2019s hottest brand according to Lyst.<\/p>\n This year, the Italian brand had high moments ranging from collaborations with the likes of New Balance and Church\u2019s alongside its star-studded Paris Fashion Week show with figures like Gigi Hadid and Troye Sivan.<\/p>\n From the Lyst report, Miu Miu\u2019s online search increased by 39% in Q4 alongside a 12% search spike for its signature cashmere cardigans. Behind Miu Miu, LOEWE was another highlight \u2013 claiming the hot spot in Q2 and also having the logo for the year with its signature Anagram emblem.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>Courtesy Of Fear Of God Athletics<\/span><\/p>\n The trinity is finally complete as Fear of God Athletics has arrived. The Fear of God x adidas collaboration was first announced three years ago, but Jerry Lorenzo and the sportswear giant have been working for quite some time to build their vision.<\/p>\n With Fear of God Athletics, Lorenzo bridges his affinity for tailoring and basketball for a blissfully elegant sportswear collection. According to a release by the brand, Athletics \u201ccompletes the brand architecture of Fear of God, which was established in 2013.\u201d<\/p>\n The exact clothing details for Fear of God Athletics are still under wraps, but the released campaign visuals reveal sleeveless tops and jackets, zip-ups, performance crewnecks and more. Fear of God Athletics is set to launch on December 3 online at Fear of God and adidas\u2019 CONFIRMED. The line will then be released at select adidas stores on December 6.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>Kristy Sparow\/Getty Images<\/span><\/p>\n LVMH is continuing its journey into Hong Kong as Kim Jones\u2019 Dior Men\u2019s Fall 2024 collection is set to show in the seaside city.<\/p>\n \u201cDuring the first semester of 2024, the House will reveal, in Hong Kong, the Fall 2024 men\u2019s collection dreamed up by Kim Jones,\u201d Dior shared with Hypebeast. \u201cAfter Tokyo, Miami, London, Los Angeles and Cairo, this destination once again celebrates the Artistic Director\u2019s passion for travel and world cultures \u2013 so dear to Monsieur Dior.\u201d<\/p>\n The forthcoming show marks Dior\u2019s return to Hong Kong after its 2016 menswear presentation in 2016. Alongside furthering its history of international shows, the next presentation is also a key focus in strengthening LVMH\u2019s presence in the Asian market.
