because of the kind way he treated the three contestants fighting for a finals place.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>British chef Jeremy Chan boasts two Michelin stars at London eatery Ikoyi, which recently also ranked in the world&#8217;s top 50 restaurants, and put pro chefs Tom, Lauren and Charlie through their paces in the latest episode of the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Chan&#8217;s restaurant, which\u00a0charges up to \u00a3300 for its tasting menu dinners, is inspired by African cuisine and episode 17 saw the contestants helping his kitchen serve up the 18-course lunch menu service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There was no hint of the fiery temperament that chefs are known for, with fans praising Chan for treating the hopefuls with respect &#8211; even when disaster struck for Lauren.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Serving up an octopus dish, the young chef forgot one portion&#8230;and looked nervous as the restaurant&#8217;s owner counted them up to reveal the mistake.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, Chan, 36, was ice cool, and simply requested one of the octopus was cut in two to make a second portion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Viewers were impressed with the two Michelin-starred chef&#8217;s calm approach.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One wrote: &#8216;This guy Jeremy is a class act &#8211; although Charlie&#8217;s monkfish main was enough to see him sail through to the finals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Tom faced the wrath of Marcus Wareing for serving up a trimmed down guinea fowl breast, which the chef had decided to cut down to make it appear neater on the plate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>However, it was a tearful Lauren who was eventually shown the door after neither of her dishes &#8211;
