BIG Brother legend Davina McCall has flatly ruled out going full circle and being a housemate on the soon-to-be revived Celebrity Big Brother.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The TV regular, who hosted the original show from 2000 to 2010, admits no massive pay cheque would make her even consider the idea.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Sun at the ITV Palooza in London, Davina, 56, said: "No I wouldn't do it.<\/p>\n

"Flat out no. I don't want to have people seeing me sleeping. There are bits I would like to save for my partner and my kids<\/p>\n

"I think it is quite a public thing being a famous person and seeing everything that you do and how you behave is too much.<\/p>\n

"I feel like I want to save a bit for my family."<\/p>\n

Last month TV bosses confirmed that Celebrity Big Brother will return in 2024 on ITV's main channel – six years after it bowed out on Channel 5.<\/p>\n

Will Best and AJ Odudu, who have just wrapped ITV2's debut civilian series, will once again host the show.<\/p>\n

Insisting she still has a lot of love for the show, Davina continued: "I haven't seen any of it bar the first night which is terrible but I was working every evening and then I went away working as well.<\/p>\n

"It's still got life in it which I think is testament to the format being so good.<\/p>\n

"There aren't many shows on telly any more that are reality shows where people aren't told what to do – and with Big Brother they are just left alone."<\/p>\n

When it launched on ITV2 in October, it pulled in 2.6 million viewers – the highest audience for \u00a0the show since 2012.<\/p>\n

In comparison, this summer's Love Island only managed half of that with 1.3 m tuning in for it's launch episode.<\/p>\n
