FABIAN SCHAR has been ruled out of international action due to injury.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Newcastle star picked up a knock during last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Schar was able to complete the game without being substituted.<\/p>\n

But reports in Switzerland<\/span> claim that the 31-year-old's issue has lingered.<\/p>\n

The Swiss are set to face Israel in a Euro 2024 this evening.<\/p>\n

According to local outlet Blick, Schar has "declared forfeit" for the match, despite joining up with his international team-mates.<\/p>\n
