A CRICKET star pulled off a stunning sextuple-wicket maiden to hand his team victory in a miraculous achievement.

Australian cricket team Mudgeeraba Nerang and Districts third grade needed something special to win their match against Surfers Paradise CC on Saturday.

Surfers Paradise needed just five runs to win from the final over as they chased down a target of 178 that the hosts set.

To make things more difficult for Mudgeeraba Nerang, the batting side still had six wickets in hand.

However, captain Gareth Morgan took the ball for the last over and completely flipped the script as he skittled the batters.

With his first ball, he took the wicket of the opening batter, Jake Garland, who was caught at deep mid-wicket.
