<\/p>\nStrictly Come Dancing fans were left fuming after Angela Rippon was saved over Krishnan Guru-Murthy, with some calling it a \u201ctravesty\u201d and others calling it a \u201cfix\u201d. <\/p>\n
Newsreaders Angela and Krishnan ended up in the bottom two after Saturday night\u2019s (11 November) instalment of the BBC ballroom show. They went head to head in the dance-off, with Krishnan cracking out his Samba with Lauren Oakley once again and Angela performing her Paso Doble with Kai Widdrington.<\/p>\n
While judge Craig Revel Horwood acknowledged that Krishnan had \u201cupped\u201d his game a bit, he opted to keep Angela in the competition and sent her through to the Blackpool stage. And Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke did the same.<\/p>\n

Head judge Shirley Ballas said she would have kept Krishnan on the dancefloor. But with three judges saving Angela he was sent packing.<\/p>\n

And the decision left plenty of fans unimpressed. Several posted messages on social media saying that they thought Krishnan had performed better than Angela on the night and that he didn\u2019t deserve to go this week.<\/p>\n
One person ranted on X, which used to be Twitter, that it was \u201cso unfair\u201d. \u201cWe all knew they were getting her to Blackpool, absolute joke,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n

Someone else accused the BBC show of being \u201crigged to make sure Angela gets to Blackpool\u201d. \u201cTotally unfair,\u201d they added as one viewer called it a \u201cf****** travesty\u201d, insisting: \u201cKGM deserved to stay.\u201d \u201cWhy was Angela R put through?\u201d they asked, saying it was \u201cdepressing\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnyone else think it\u2019s an absolute travesty that Angela R has been saved by the judges when they even admitted Krishnan upped his game!\u201d said someone else. \u201cCraig and Shirley even pointed out Angela made a mistake!\u201d<\/p>\n

Another fan remarked: \u201cShirley called the right result. Krishnan should\u2019ve gone through.\u201d Someone else asked: \u201cHow did Angela get through instead of Krishnan? Neither was brilliant, but Krishnan edged it for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, there were others who felt the judges had \u201cgot it right\u201d this time. \u201cShe was very good,\u201d one said of Angela\u2019s dramatic dance.<\/p>\n
"How fabulous is Angela," said another. "And she looked stunning. Amazing."<\/p>\n
