<\/p>\nCORONATION Street legend Simon Gregson is set to make a surprise appearance on another TV show – and it\u2019s worlds away from the ITV soap opera. <\/p>\n
Simon is best known for playing cab office owner Steve McDonald on the serial drama for over twenty years.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
But he's set to swap the streets of Weatherfield for the Yorkshire countryside after its been revealed he's signed up for Really TV\u2019s The Yorkshire Auction House. <\/p>\n
Simon has even been spotted filming on location for the popular TV show.<\/p>\n
The series is hosted by Antiques Road Trip star Angus Ashworth, and it\u2019s thought that the soap favourite will be one of featured stars on a forthcoming celebrity edition of the TV show.<\/p>\n
The episode will air on screen later this year. <\/p>\n
The show is the latest reality television series that Simon has appeared on in recent years. <\/p>\n In 2021, the Steve McDonald star took part in ITV\u2019s I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026Get Me Out of Here! and finished second place. <\/p>\n While he has also taken part in Celebrity Haunted Mansion, which he was crowned the winner. <\/p>\n Most recently, Simon was part of the line up of celebrities taking part in paranormal reality show Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The ator recently spoke out about finally seeing a psychiatrist who diagnosed him with\u00a0anxiety.<\/p>\n He said to try to beat it he took medication, pushed himself in the gym and shared his thoughts on\u00a0Twitter.<\/p>\n But now he reveals he finally has control of the gruelling \u00adcondition after retraining his brain.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cEveryone has a mental trigger that can help with recovery.<\/p>\n \u201cFor me, it was thinking, \u2018Do I want to be surrounded by my family on my deathbed wishing I had worried more?\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cNo, I didn\u2019t. That was a eureka moment. So now I just let things go. I\u2019ve learned to train my brain not to hold on to stuff that doesn\u2019t \u00admatter.\u201d<\/p>\n Simon\u00a0revealed in 2019 that he suffered with\u00a0anxiety\u00a0after a\u00a0BBC\u00a0documentary about the condition explained how, in its severest form, it can interrupt a sufferer\u2019s ability to carry out typical day-to-day tasks.<\/p>\n He called it a \u201chidden, awful\u201d condition and revealed he had gone through therapy for it, to try to encourage others to get help.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/CORRIE-LOGO.jpg\"){kind=logo}
