Bruce Springsteen is a beloved singer-songwriter best known for his songs that chronicle his working-class roots in New Jersey.<\/p>\n

Springsteen has won 20 Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and an Academy Award.<\/p>\n

Springsteen and Patti Scialfa are the only husband-and-wife Rock & Roll Hall of Famers to have an Olympian daughter.<\/p>\n

Jessica Springsteen formed part of the USA's jumping team as they finished second in the equestrian finals in Japan.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old achieved her lifelong dream of competing at the Olympic Games after being named as a reserve at London 2012.<\/p>\n

She ranked as high as 14th in the world in showjumping and trained on her family's 368-acre farm in Colts Neck.<\/p>\n

Jessica was on national duty in Barcelona last month, while competing in the FEI Jumping Nations Cup final.<\/p>\n

Team USA missed out on the much- sought-after qualifying spot on offer for the Paris 2024 Olympics, after finishing fifth.<\/p>\n

Germany were the team to qualify, leaving the United States needing to shine in Pan American Games in Chile this week.<\/p>\n

Jessica first started riding horses at the age of four which inspired her love of the sport.<\/p>\n

The Olympian told PEOPLE: "I've been so grateful that\u00a0my parents have supported me\u00a0throughout my career."<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
