AN actor's BBC comedy show has been axed after two series – just month's after her other programme was canned.

Daisy Haggard's programme Back to Life won't be returning to the broadcaster for a third series.

The star, 45, wrote and starred in the show which followed her character's life after being released from prison.

She played Miri Matteson who committed an awful crime which saw her caged for 18 years.

British Comedy Guide first reported the axing, with Daisy herself confirming the news.

She told the Out to Lunch podcast: "It feels really sad to kill Back To Life because I love Back To Life. But I think the story is done.
