AN urgent hunt is on for a man who "groped a woman in her 70s".<\/p>\n

The horror happened in Leicester town centre in broad daylight on August 26. <\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

It is understood the pensioner was walking through Jubilee Square around 4.30pm when she was approached and touched "inappropriately". <\/p>\n

The suspect then walked off – leaving the woman in shock, say cops. <\/p>\n

Police have since released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to. <\/p>\n

Leicestershire Police said: "Police would like to speak to him in connection with a report of an attempted sexual assault in Leicester. <\/p>\n

"A woman in her 70s reported that at around 4.30pm on Saturday August 26, a man approached her while she was walking through Jubilee Square and tried to touch her inappropriately, before walking off.<\/p>\n

"It is believed the man pictured may have information that could help."<\/p>\n

Anyone who might have seen the man pictured is asked to contact the force via their website – using crime reference number 23*539221 or call 101.<\/p>\n
