A STEPH's Packed Lunch star has broken his silence after its axe, revealing they'll have to 'sell their OnlyFans nudes'.<\/p>\n

The popular Channel 4 daytime show is being culled from the schedule after three years on air.<\/p>\n

Yesterday The Sun exclusively revealed exes made the decision as they try to compete with streaming giants like Netflix and Disney+.<\/p>\n

And now John Whaite has paid tribute to Steph McGovern and the show in an emotional Instagram post.<\/p>\n

John, 34, won The Great British Bake Off in 2012 and has been a regular fixture in the Packed Lunch kitchen.<\/p>\n

He told his followers: "Breaking my little insta-pause to post about this. I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve read the deeply sad news that Steph\u2019s Packed Lunch will not be returning after December.<\/p>\n

"What they created was a show that was as diverse as it was welcoming, and I hope each and every one of them continue to thrive wherever the wind next takes them, because they deserve nothing but success.<\/p>\n

"The food team – Courtney, Sarah and the talented home economists – have been a lifeline to me on so many occasions, and it\u2019s been an honour to work with them (and the rest of the production and editorial teams) for the past 3 years.<\/p>\n

"And finally I hope that Steph, Vivek, Matt and all the people at the top feel nothing but immense pride for creating a ground-breaking, inclusive show.<\/p>\n

John cheekily added: "Maybe it\u2019s time to start selling photos of my bare arse on OnlyFans, again\u2026"<\/p>\n

The baker previously presented a cookery item in the nip – wearing just an apron to cover his modesty.<\/p>\n

Steph, 41, left her role at BBC Breakfast to front her self-titled show which is based in Leeds.<\/p>\n
