BIG Brother has made a triumphant return to telly.<\/p>\n

The reality show has been rebooted on ITV and one of the housemates hoping to last the distance in the famous house is Dylan.<\/p>\n

Who is Dylan?<\/h2>\n

In the Big Brother house is Dylan, a 39-year-old DJ from\u00a0Coventry.<\/p>\n

When asked why he decided to apply for the show, he told ITV: "I saw one of the ads on TV and I thought, I've had so many people over the years say to me that I should be a reality TV show because I'm a character. <\/p>\n

"So when I saw it, I thought, you know what, I'll give it a go and now here I am!"<\/p>\n

The DJ describes himself as "a loud, positive and musical person".<\/p>\n

How did Dylan lose his leg?<\/h2>\n

Dylan revealed during the BB launch show that he was hit head-on by a taxi in\u00a0Tenerife, which resulted in his foot snapping in half.<\/p>\n

Tragically medics were unable to save it, and in 2017 his\u00a0leg was amputated.<\/p>\n

Dylan fought to learn to walk and documented his journey online.<\/p>\n

In his first\u00a0YouTube\u00a0video, Dylan explained that initially medics had saved his foot, but he could never really walk properly on it.<\/p>\n

"Over the two years I've had problems with it," he explained.<\/p>\n

"It gets infected, it swells up when it's hot, it hurts inside when it's cold.<\/p>\n

"Every month for the past year and a half I've had some sort of problem with it."<\/p>\n

But after antibiotics didn't work the second time, Dylan was told he would need a below-the-knee amputation.<\/p>\n

On his Big Brother launch night VT he said he was hoping to prove he can do whatever is asked of him in the house, "without having any problems".<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
