A DOG trainer has revealed the massive mistake many pet owners make when walking their pooch – and it could cause a lot of serious damage.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n So if you\u2019ve got a dog, you\u2019ll need to listen up and pay attention.\u00a0<\/p>\n A dog trainer from Dog Point USA<\/span> explained that people often hold their dog\u2019s lead incorrectly, which could lead to big injuries including broken bones.\u00a0<\/p>\n Sharing his advice on social media, the dog expert simply said: \u201cDon\u2019t do this with your leash.\u201d<\/p>\n He then explained: \u201cIf you have a leash with a hand loop, and you put your hand in it and hold it like this [around your wrist], and your dog takes off after a squirrel, any other small animal, or lunges for any other reason, you run the risk of hurting the bones in your hand.<\/p>\n \u201cThey can break and you can hurt your shoulder when you get jerked forward."<\/p>\n
