The excitement surrounding Drake\u2019s new album, For All the Dogs, quickly turned into fury as the rapper appeared to take aim at his superstar ex Rihanna.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Throughout 2008 and 2018, the pair had an on-and-off again relationship which came with a number of chart-topping songs including Whats My Name and Work.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, they officially called it quits when the Fenty founder revealed they were no longer close, just two years after Drake professed his love for her on stage at the 2016 MTV VMA\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Recalling his speech, Rihanna told Vogue: \u201cWaiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don\u2019t like too many compliments; I don\u2019t like to be put on blast.\u201d<\/p>\n
Adding: \u201cWe don\u2019t have a friendship now, but we\u2019re not enemies either. It is what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

That could never be.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans have also suggested the line: \u201cGyal can’t ruin me,\u201d was a jab at the Barbados native\u2019s accent, despite his own Jamaican roots.\u00a0<\/p>\n Drake added: \u201cThe sex was average with you\u201d which listeners are convinced was a swipe at Rihanna\u2019s song Sex With Me, where she sings: \u201cSex with me so amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n The father of one, also seemed to take shots at Rihanna\u2019s boyfriend ASAP Rocky with the line: \u201cBetter him than me, better it’s not me. Yeah, that man, he still with you.<\/p>\n \u201cHe can’t leave you.
