Walkers has quietly discontinued a \u2018God level\u2019 flavour of crisps \u2014 and fans are reeling.<\/p>\n
The Leicester company last month confirmed it had axed its Worcester Sauce flavour while responding to customers on Twitter.<\/p>\n
Replying to a fan of the crisps who asked \u2018what had happened\u2019 to his favourite snack, the Walkers Twitter account responded: \u2018Sorry to say Worcester Sauce has been discontinued, but Tomato ketchup is still out there!\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018Why would anybody want tomato ketchup over Worcester sauce this is sooo selfish bring them back please,\u2019 wrote one Twitter user.<\/p>\n
\u2018Time for everyone to stop buying Walkers crisps,\u2019 another wrote. \u2018They keep disgusting cheese and onion and stop making Worcester sauce.\u2019<\/p>\n
Another said she was \u2018bereft\u2019.<\/p>\n
She wrote: \u2018The world is so f*cking horrible right now so excuse me while I lend my ire to the only issue I afford to focus my energy on right now: why oh why did @walkers_crisps discontinue the God level flavour, Worcester Sauce?\u2019<\/p>\n
Worcester Sauce isn\u2019t the only flavour to go. The Walkers account also confirmed that its Beef and Onion flavour \u2013 another fan favourite \u2013 had also been discontinued.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We\u00e2\u0080\u0099re sorry Warren, but Beef & Onion flavoured crisps are no longer part of our range.<\/p>\n
Times are changing, but we\u2019re sure Worcester Sauce Walkers will never be forgotten.<\/p>\n
