It went into operation in late 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The erection of the railway shattered several world records and has helped facilitate the transport of coal from Inner Mongolia to China&#8217;s southern provinces.<\/p>\n<p>The railway is the country&#8217;s longest coal transporting line, and joins a large handful of Chinese coal train lines that move the fossil fuel across the country.<\/p>\n<p>China burns more coal every year than the rest of the world combined, and coal accounts for more than half of the total train cargo shipped across the country annually.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While America and Europe back away from coal, China&#8217;s usage has only gone up. The country has more than 1,000 coal plants despite a vow from Chinese President Xi Jinping that his country will reach net-zero emissions by 2060.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>China emits somewhere around 27 percent of the world&#8217;s carbon dioxide, and a third of the globe&#8217;s total greenhouse gases. As Western nations struggle to implement green initiatives that may or may not impact the environment in a significant way, China has made no such effort to curb its emissions.<\/p>\n<p>The Menghua Railway is just one example of a way in which China continues to use fossil fuels to power its country. Biden has personally promised to cut US carbon emissions in half by 2030, and like Europe, become net-zero by 2050.<\/p>\n<p>In total, the president&#8217;s budget invests $52.2billion in discretionary budget authority to fight climate change &#8211; a 26 percent increase over Fiscal Year 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s claim about his ambitious green energy plan claims it will create jobs, cut energy and water bills for American families, and build out a more reliable US infrastructure. Those claims have yet to be borne out as the US economy continues to flail and Americans struggle to pay their bills.<\/p>\n<p>The Democratic president is far from the only prominent American aggressively pushing a climate-driven agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Jane Fonda recently suggested that white men be jailed for driving the climate crisis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She then added there &#8216;would be no climate crisis if there was no racism.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;This is serious.
