MILLIE Court has given a candid update on her acne battle as she shared a make-up free snap on Instagram.<\/p>\n

The Love Island winner, 26, recently\u00a0blasted vile keyboard bullies for sending her abuse about her adult acne, which was sparked back in 2020.<\/p>\n

At the time, former ASOS buyer Millie "couldn't figure out" what was causing the painful breakouts on her face.<\/p>\n

Back in July, Millie revealed a candid snap of her acne as she opened up on her microneedling treatment.<\/p>\n

Now she confirmed she is seeking an alternative solution after being left "fed up and frustrated."<\/p>\n

Millie, who recently reunited with Love Island partner Liam Reardon, took to Instagram to respond to a fan who asked: "How's your skin doing atm?"<\/p>\n

In a lengthy reply, Millie detailed: "This was it four weeks ago, I've finally made the decision to go on Roaccutane because quite frankly I'm fed up and frustrated about it.<\/p>\n

"I've been struggling with acne since I was 15 and tried everything possible.<\/p>\n

"Some things worked but were a short term fix so I took myself to a private dermatologist and he said this was the only thing left for me now!<\/p>\n

"I will keep you updated as much as possible with my journey as I've been researching it for weeks on end now and I feel like I'm fully prepared for it."<\/p>\n

Millie then added: "So for anyone else doing the same you can come with me on my journey to see if this is something right for you.<\/p>\n

"Please don't get me wrong I am not sitting here and promoting this at all.<\/p>\n

"This is the last resort and has some very dangerous side effects.<\/p>\n

"But I will monitor it, and so will my friends and family, and if anything gets too much I will come off it immediately."<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, we reported how common acne drug Roaccutane had been linked to dozens of suicides.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0three-year safety review\u00a0into the medication concluded that it should only be prescribed to patients aged 12\u201318 years when no prior treatments have worked.<\/p>\n

It came after a number people have\u00a0died by suicide\u00a0after taking the drug, leading the grieving parents of a teenage girl to call for a ban in people under 21.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, ITV2 star Millie previously hit out after receiving a nasty message from a troll about her acne that "cut deeper than it should".<\/p>\n

The 2021\u00a0show star posted the horrible Instagram message online and warned her followers to always "be kind" to others.<\/p>\n
