MUM-OF-TWO Ferne McCann has opened up about the mum-shaming she experiences, especially when it comes to one of her daughter\u2019s names.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ferne, 33, welcomed baby Finty in July \u2013 a little sister for her five-year-old sister, Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

But the former The Only Way Is Essex star admitted that whenever she shares anything about her kids on her social media accounts, other parents shame and harass her.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cI get trolled for whatever \u2013 especially when it comes to the children.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking on podcast Saving Grace, Ferne continued to dub her critics \u201cthe mum police<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ferne continued: \u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s mums and dads, but on my socials, it\u2019s normally mums, and they come out in force.\u201d<\/p>\n

Detailing the things she\u2019s received negative comments about, Ferne listed everything from feeding techniques to how you dress your kids.<\/p>\n

She revealed: \u201cNo matter what \u2013 whether you breastfeed, dummies, muslin, the way you support their head \u2013 how people can see that in a picture, I don\u2019t know \u2013 to what you dress them in and call them, everyone has an opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

And Ferne, who has her own ITV series called Ferne McCann: My Family & Me, said that has definitely been her experience.<\/p>\n

When Ferne announced that she\u2019d called her eldest daughter Sunday, people questioned her choices and slammed the moniker.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And when the podcast host grilled her on \u201cthe hate\u201d, Ferne said it even continued into her second pregnancy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ferne recalled: \u201cWhen I was pregnant with Finty, everyone was like, \u2018it\u2019s going to be Monday or Tuesday \u2013 just have seven kids!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

But when she eventually unveiled her unusual moniker to the world, some people made it\u00a0 known they were not a fan \u2013 so much so that Ferne hit back.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After spotting comments, such as \u201cthat name ain\u2019t cute\u201d and \u201cshe cannot be serious with that name\u201d, Ferne decided enough was enough.<\/p>\n

And when one of her loyal fans leapt to her defence, she directly responded to them.<\/p>\n

Ferne\u2019s Instagram follower wrote: \u201cThe name means Pure cannot believe in 2023 people still think it's acceptable to leave such nasty comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lovely name and a beautiful new addition to a family. Congratulations guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

To which Ferne replied: \u201cThank you babe, not everyone will like it but we do and that is all that matters. Xx.\u201d<\/p>\n
