SIR ALEX FERGUSON'S first goal as Manchester United manager was scored by forgotten star John Sivabeck.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Dane spent only one year at Old Trafford before being sold to St Etienne.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

The right-back made 36 appearances and scored just one goal – a winner against QPR which gave Ferguson his first victory as United boss.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils had played 213 minutes of football under Fergie without scoring a goal before Sivabeck curled in a free-kick at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Sivabeck, 61, also had spells at Monaco, Pescara and Danish side Vejle, where he made 296 appearances.<\/p>\n

The defender won 87 caps for Denmark and was part of the team that claimed victory in the European Championship in 1992.<\/p>\n

He retired in 1997 and became a football agent with Proactive Scandinavia.<\/p>\n

Sivabeck founded his own football agency company in 2017 – Sivabeck Sports Agency.<\/p>\n

They represent many Danish players as well as Plymouth star Mustapha Bundu.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his memorable United goal, Sivabeck said: "I\u2019m very proud of that \u2013 the only goal I scored for United. It is part of history.<\/p>\n
