Sainsbury&#x27;s, Tesco and Asda were all selling the 470g box for \u00a32.50 at the time of writing while Morrisons was stocking them for \u00a33.29.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taste and texture: 6\/10<\/li>\n<li>Price: 4\/10<\/li>\n<li>Overall: 10\/20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sainsbury&#x27;s<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a31.13, 500g<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Price per 100g: 23p<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/sam-walker-sunonline-consumer-reporter-846023630.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>These ones came out on top in terms of taste and texture &#8211; there was a good balance of flavour between the corn and sugar.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, they stayed crunchy and crispy after a minute or two in the milk.<\/p>\n<p>The sugar content is 27g per 100g, so they are one of the highest out of the seven boxes.<\/p>\n<p>But they are the cheapest out of the range and best flavour wise, crowning them champions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taste and texture: 9\/10<\/li>\n<li>Price: 8\/10<\/li>\n<li>Overall: 17\/20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Morrisons<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a31.40, 500g<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Price per 100g: 28p<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/sam-walker-sunonline-consumer-reporter-846023653.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Morrisons&#x27; own-brand frosted flakes have one of the lowest sugar contents, coming in at 22.3g per 100g.<\/p>\n<p>They stayed firm in the milk with a light texture too.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of pricing, they&#x27;re middle of the pack, equal to Tesco and Asda.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taste and texture: 7\/10<\/li>\n<li>Price: 5\/10<\/li>\n<li>Overall: 12\/20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tesco<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a31.40, 500g<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Price per 100g: 28p<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/sam-walker-sunonline-consumer-reporter-846023632.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The Tesco own brand frosted flakes were a bit of a disappointment, with a sandy texture.<\/p>\n<p>They have one of the lowest sugar contents &#8211; 22.4g per 100g &#8211; but they were sickly and I couldn&#x27;t see myself being able to eat a whole bowl.<\/p>\n<p>They&#x27;re one of the pricier out of the seven boxes too, coming in at 28p per 100g.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taste and texture: 6\/10<\/li>\n<li>Price: 5\/10<\/li>\n<li>Overall: 11\/20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Asda<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a31.40, 500g<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Price per 100g: 28p<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/sam-walker-sunonline-consumer-reporter-846023558.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>These ones definitely had the worst texture and were really stiff.<\/p>\n<p>But the balance of corn and sugar flavour was good and they weren&#x27;t too sickly.<\/p>\n<p>They have the lowest sugar content out of all seven boxes, but price wise are one of the more expensive, coming in at 28p per 100g.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taste and texture: 7\/10<\/li>\n<li>Price: 5\/10<\/li>\n<li>Overall: 12\/20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Aldi<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a31.35, 600g<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Price per 100g: 23p<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/sam-walker-sunonline-consumer-reporter-846023659-1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>These ones had great texture, with a serious crunch.<\/p>\n<p>They also held their texture well in the milk and didn&#x27;t go too soggy.<\/p>\n<p>The 600g box makes them the weightiest out of the seven, so they&#x27;ll last you longer than the rest too.<\/p>\n<p>But they had quite a high sugar content when compared to the others.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taste and texture: 7\/10<\/li>\n<li>Price: 7\/10<\/li>\n<li>Overall: 14\/20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Lidl<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a31.15, 500g<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Price per 100g: 23p<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/sam-walker-sunonline-consumer-reporter-846023635.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>These are marginally more expensive than Sainsbury&#x27;s, at \u00a31.15 for a 500g box.<\/p>\n<p>The flavour wasn&#x27;t as good as Sainsbury&#x27;s either, maybe due to the fact they have a lower sugar content &#8211;
