NHS details signs of a heart attack<\/h3>\n

Remembering back to May 2021 when he was 44 years old, Jason recalled going on his usual run when he experienced a heart attack.<\/p>\n

He said: “I felt extreme breathlessness, but thought I had just breathed in cold air.”<\/p>\n

While he felt “no further symptoms” on the same day that the blood flow to his heart got interrupted, other sensations appeared later.<\/p>\n

“On the third day, I felt some discomfort in my chest, which I put down to indigestion,” Jason revealed.<\/p>\n

“On the fifth day, after a workout, I felt extremely hot and generally unwell.”<\/p>\n

By this point, Jason knew “something wasn’t quite right”, so he dialed the emergency services on 999.<\/p>\n

“I was seen by an ambulance straight away,” said Jason. “It turns out I had a 90 percent blockage in my coronary arteries, and I was quickly fitted with a stent.”<\/p>\n
