Influencer, Nicky Newman, was known for her positive outlook on life, despite battling stage four breast cancer.<\/p>\n

But after living with the disease for over five years, her family shared the heartbreaking news on social media that she had passed away, aged 35.<\/p>\n

In a post written by Nicky before her death, she wrote: \u2018If you\u2019re reading this it means I have died\u2026 the cancer eventually took over and that\u2019s okay, we knew this would happen.\u2019<\/p>\n

She continued: \u2018Please promise me to cherish those around you and give your friends and loved one the biggest squeezes! GO GRAB LIFE! You never truly know what is coming around the corner \u2013 so don\u2019t take anything for granted.\u2019<\/p>\n

After her diagnosis in April 2018, Nicky took to Instagram to share her journey and raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.<\/p>\n

She posted guides on \u2018how to check your tattas\u2019, encouraging her followers to check for lumps, bumps and changes once a month \u2013 every month.<\/p>\n

If found early, breast cancer is treatable \u2013 so it\u2019s important to get to know your body, and what is normal for you.<\/p>\n
