The singer\u2019s daughter tragically passed away in 2014 when she was just 25.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who was Peaches Geldof?<\/h2>\n

Peaches Geldof<\/span>, born March 13, 1989, was an English columnist, <\/span>model<\/span>, and <\/span>television<\/span> personality.<\/span><\/p>\n

On September 17, 2000, <\/span>her mother Paula died <\/span>from a heroin overdose when Peaches was 11 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n

Born and raised in <\/span>London<\/span>, Peaches worked primarily in modelling and television – but had also worked for the UK edition of Elle Magazine.<\/span><\/p>\n

She also had two sisters – <\/span>Pixie Geldof<\/span>, <\/span>Fifi Trixibelle Geldof<\/span> and one-half sister <\/span>Tiger Lily Hutchence<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

What happened to Peaches?<\/h2>\n

On April 7, 2014, Peaches Geldof was found dead at her home in Wrotham, <\/span>Kent<\/span>, aged 25.<\/span><\/p>\n

An inquest into her death found she had died of a heroin overdose.<\/span><\/p>\n

The model was at home with one of her sons at the time of her death.<\/span><\/p>\n

Peaches\u2019 funeral was held in the same church where she was married, <\/span>where her parents were married, and where her mother's funeral service was held.<\/span><\/p>\n

In March 2020, legendary rocker <\/span>Bob Geldof opened up about the "unbearable" grief<\/span> after losing a child in an emotional interview on Irish television.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said: "Last week I went to the funeral of my mate's son. And he didn't want me to come for fear that I had to relive it. But I had to be there for him because it is unbearable.<\/span><\/p>\n

"Time doesn't heal, time accommodates and it's ever present.<\/span><\/p>\n

"You're driving along and you're at the traffic lights and for no reason whatsoever, the person in question inhabits you and I'll cry.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019And then I'll look around to make sure the people next door don't see me or are taking a photo and posting it or something.<\/span><\/p>\n

"But that happens and that happens to everyone. And so you say, 'ok it's time to cry now'.<\/span><\/p>\n

"You just do it to the maximum because there's no use holding it in.<\/span><\/p>\n

"Lights are green, or whatever, and then you go. That'll always be there and you accommodate that.<\/span><\/p>\n

"Once you understand the nature of this because it is boundless and it is bottomless. The grief and the abyss is infinite."<\/span><\/p>\n

How many children did she have with Thomas Cohen?<\/h2>\n

Peaches Geldof had two children with musician <\/span>Thomas Cohen<\/span> – whom she married in 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pair welcomed Astala Dylan Willow Geldof-Cohen in 2012 and Phaedra Bloom Forever Geldof-Cohen in 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n

In March 2017, Cohen opened up about <\/span>the moment he discovered<\/span> his wife Peaches<\/span> dead at their home.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a candid new interview with German newspaper <\/span>Bild<\/span>, he said: "When I found her, I was not surprised. I thought to myself at the moment: 'Yes of course – you had to do that.'<\/span><\/p>\n

"The routine I had to keep up with the children helped me a lot.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey have lived longer than they knew their mother. They were just one and two years. Now they are four and five.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
