A HOLLYOAKS star rushed to hospital amid a worrying health scare.<\/p>\n
Ross Adams took a photo of the outside of a hospital wing and told fans he\u2019d \u201chad problems with his voice.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star, who plays the role of Scott Drinkwell in the Channel 4 soap opera<\/span>, wrote: \u201cI\u2019ve had some problems with my voice for a while.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been worrying me a lot but today I went here and I can finally say that I\u2019m fine.<\/p>\n \u201cJust wanted to explain why I\u2019ve been quiet.\u201d<\/p>\n The 41-year-old actor was joined by his mum at the hospital, who he said accompanied him \u201cfor moral support.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Back in 2018, Ross\u00a0was convinced he had a brain tumour and after Googling his symptoms, he thought that he would be dead in a matter of months.<\/p>\n Opening up about his ordeal at the time, he told\u00a0The Sunday People:\u00a0 \u201cI worried I wouldn\u2019t be here in two months.<\/p>\n \u201cOn Google<\/span> I read people with symptoms like mine were dead two weeks later. You start to catastrophise everything.\u201d<\/p>\n However he learnt there was nothing physically wrong with him and he was in fact suffering from a form hypochondria called health<\/span> anxiety.<\/p>\n <\/picture>HOLDEN CLOSE <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>DANCER IN THE DARK <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>ENDER ROCKY <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>CLEANING UP <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Ross underwent eight session of CBT when he was diagnosed with it, and then continued to have combined sessions of hypnotherapy, timeline therapy and neuro linguistic programming.<\/p>\n He now has it more under control, saying: \u201cI\u2019ve got the tools to control it now. I\u2019ve learned that while I\u2019m healthy and happy, it\u2019s good to live in the now rather than worrying what\u2019s ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n Ross lives in a stunning home with his husband Phil in Manchester.<\/p>\n Ross and Phil married in front of their nearest and dearest two years after getting engaged on a romantic holiday in New York in 2016.<\/p>\nRead More on Ross Adams<\/span><\/h2>\n
