My husband has cheated on me for the entirety of our relationship.<\/p>\n
He slept with his ex-girlfriend the night before our wedding and the day after we returned from our honeymoon.<\/p>\n
He bedded half a dozen \u00adneighbours in our old house and conducted several affairs with colleagues in his last job.<\/p>\n

Now he\u2019s asking if we can try again. He knows that I\u2019ve read his \u00addiaries and quizzed his friends.<\/p>\n
He knows that he\u2019s on the ropes and is worried about being alone. I\u2019m beyond angry and upset.<\/p>\n
Our entire time together has been a sham and a lie.<\/p>\n

Every Christmas, birthday and holiday has been a joke because he\u2019s always had someone else on his mind.<\/p>\n
I now realise that all of those \u201cemergency work meetings\u201d on Boxing Day mornings were an excuse for him to dash off and jump into bed with a love rival.<\/p>\n
Can I really forgive 10 years of fibs, tall stories, and elaborate excuses?<\/p>\n
He claims he was driven by booze; that alcohol made him horny and made him behave like a rutting goat.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s promised to give up the drink and only take water in \u00adfuture. My heart is broken, and my confidence crushed.<\/p>\n
I thought we had a good life \u00adtogether. I never once suspected or doubted him, even when he \u00addisappeared for days on end or couldn\u2019t contact me because his phone was \u201cplaying up\u201d.<\/p>\n
How can I ever have him back in my bed?<\/p>\n

Now he\u2019s been found out \u2013 and caught bang to rights \u2013 and is promising to change, but isn\u2019t it all too little, too late?<\/i> <\/b><\/p>\n
He\u2019s trying to save is bacon with a massive damage limitation job, but was he ever going to tell you the truth himself?<\/i> <\/b><\/p>\n
What if you hadn\u2019t found those diaries or quizzed his friends? Would you still be in the dark? He sounds a very devious, selfish and manipulative person to me.<\/i> <\/b><\/p>\n
Is he blaming you for his \u00adalcohol consumption and \u00adaffairs? It\u2019s often said that there are two sides to every story. What is his story?<\/i> <\/b><\/p>\n
Where did you and he go so badly wrong? Start talking and don\u2019t \u00adallow him to \u00adsilence you or talk you down.<\/i> <\/b><\/p>\n
Personally, I don\u2019t see how you can come back from this.<\/i> <\/b><\/p>\n
Surely too much has gone down for a genuine reconciliation.<\/i> <\/b><\/p>\n
