Real life soap couple Amy Walsh and Toby Alexander Smith have tied the knot, after three years togther. <\/p>\n
Amy has played Tracy Metcalfe in Emmerdale since 2014, whilst Toby played Gray Atkins in EastEnders until last year. <\/p>\n
The couple wed in secret, in a rustic villa in Montenegro, surrounded by friends family (including Amy\u2019s Girls Aloud sister Kimberly Walsh) and soap stars. <\/p>\n
But when did the couple meet? And do they have any children together? <\/p>\n
Let\u2019s take a look inside their relationship. <\/p>\n
Amy and Toby\u2019s romance began after a chance meeting in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing in 2019. <\/p>\n
Both actors were in the front row, Amy supporting Emmerdale castmate Kelvin Fletcher, and Toby supporting co-star Emma Barton. <\/p>\n

The couple have discussed how \u2018fate\u2019 brought them together, as Kelvin wasn\u2019t originally supposed to be in the line up, but replaced Made In Chelsea\u2019s Jamie Laing after he broke his ankle.<\/p>\n
During the show, the couple got talking and agreed to go on a date. <\/p>\n
Amy said: \u2018After the show, someone sent me a screenshot of us in the audience and I sent it to my best friend and joked, \u2018Me and my future husband,\u2019 just thinking it was going to be a date. But after our first date I was like, \u2018This is it!\u201d<\/p>\n
A few months after the couple met, the country went into lockdown due to the Covid pandemic, forcing Amy and Toby to long distance. <\/p>\n
However, their connection was obviously strong as Toby quickly made the decision to move in with Amy, so that they could spend lockdown together. <\/p>\n
In 2021, Amy became pregnant with her and Toby\u2019s first child. <\/p>\n
Speaking to OK! about the pregnancy, she said at the time: \u2018It feels as though the way everything happened was meant to be. <\/p>\n
\u2018I thought I might struggle with fertility, so for\u00a0pregnancy\u00a0to happen quite easily and when I wanted \u2013 I was gobsmacked. We feel incredibly lucky\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n
Their daughter Bonnie, was born in December 2021, and is now one year old. <\/p>\n

Sharing the news of Bonnie\u2019s birth on Instagram, Amy said: \u2018Well\u2026it\u2019s been a busy week! Hope you all had a good one. HAPPY NEW YEAR from the three of us.\u2019<\/p>\n
However, Amy has also opened up about how \u2018tough\u2019 her birth was. <\/p>\n
She told Loose Women: \u2018Yeah, it was tough. It wasn\u2019t easy at all. I kind of prepared myself for the worst but it was worse than the worst.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u2018I had to be induced for various reasons and risk of infection which obviously just catapults you, doesn\u2019t it? The contractions were going fast but I wasn\u2019t dilating.\u2019<\/p>\n
Toby and Amy announced their engagement on Instagram in August 2022. <\/p>\n

Toby posted a snap of the pair in Ibiza \u2013 where he popped the question -with the caption \u2018so this happened\u2019. <\/p>\n
Amy can be seen beaming in the picture, showing off her gorgeous engagement ring. <\/p>\n
The Emmerdale star also posted snaps from the holiday with the capition \u2018before, during, after\u2019, with the last snap in the carousel showing her sporting her new ring. <\/p>\n
Amy and Toby got married in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in Talici Hill Rustic Villa\u00a0in Montenegro\u00a0in late August, 2023. <\/p>\n
Soap stars in attendance included Emmerdale\u2019s Natalie Ann Jamieson, Olivia Bromley, and Louisa Clein.<\/p>\n
Speaking to OK! about her wedding, Amy said: \u2018It was honestly the most perfect day. It surpassed all my expectations and more. I felt so surprisingly present on the day and loved every second. Now I\u2019m just in pure bliss.\u2019<\/p>\n
Amy was walked down the aisle by her terminally ill father, who she said \u2018knows he only has a certain amount of time left, so it was important for him to be there.\u2019<\/p>\n
